We asked you to join the Bude Area Community Jury on Climate Change. And, guess what? You did!
Of the 8,500 households we mailed across the wider Bude area, we had 171 registrations for ‘jury service’ – which is a 2% response rate and bang on the money for this unique style of consultation, not least given the huge time commitment we are asking for.
The 171 registrations were then put through the random sortition process – and 43 jurors have now been contacted. They represent almost perfectly the demographic make-up of the wider Bude area.
